Episode 104 | Irresponsible Faith

How do you stop moving through life irresponsibly?

We often get this strong urge to move when it comes to faith. Sometimes to the fault of irresponsibility. Now don’t get it wrong, when God says move we need to be doing just that. The question is, is it truly God or just the ambitious voice in your head wanting to skip steps? The Bible says to test prophecy and hold on to what is good; or even more clear, what is GOD! Yes that means even prophecy from yourself… Look at Peter in the book of Matthew when he stepped out, ON FAITH, to walk on water to get to the destination with Jesus. Jesus told them to be courageous, yes. But Peter followed up with a double-check, not out of disbelief, but out of reassurance that he wasn’t just tripping or listening to himself, but truly HEARING FROM GOD. Be encouraged to move on faith, but let your faith be a responsible move in GOD.
